DAY #2: Have a Good Time on The Bavaro Beach

If it's your first time on a beach like that, enjoy yourself! Relax and jump in the crystal-clear blue sea and make sure you get a drink from one of the many bars on the beach. Bavaro Beach is known for its big waves so if you're not a strong swimmer, it would be better to go swimming in one of the resort's pools.

If you are looking for something more active, rent a jet ski or a banana boat and have fun with your friends! Don't forget to take pictures!

 

DAY #3: A Trip to Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve Can Be a Good Decision

This is a short-day trip you can do from your resort in La Altagracia Province. It is about 45 minutes away from Bavaro beach so it's very close by. The best way to get there is by taxi.

There are 2 different kinds of tours, you choose depending on how much time you have: 1 day (C$110) or half a day (C$90). They both include transportation and round-trip entrance fees. The difference is that with the 1-day tour, you can walk around the forest and do a canopy tour. I recommend doing the half-day tour, you will have more time to enjoy yourself once you're back from your day trip.

Once there, take lots of pictures because it's really something worth seeing! You can also go for a hike up if you want an adventure or if you are in good shape.

 

DAY #4: Enjoy the Thrill of Hiking with Beautiful Landscapes

Punta Cana is also famous for its beautiful landscapes and that's why I recommend you to go hiking. If it's your first time, don't worry because there are tours where they can take care of everything for you (equipment & tour guide). It's also possible to go hiking with your own equipment if you already have some.

Your best option is to walk on the sand because it will be much easier, so try to avoid rocks or brambles because for sure you don't want sand in your backpack! Avoid climbing at the beach as well, instead I suggest going to one of the many tracks in the jungle.

It's also a good idea to go during the dry season so it will not be too slippery. Make sure you have enough water with you and for any emergencies, don't forget your cell phone!

DAY #5: Day Tour from Your Punta Cana All Inclusive Resort to Santo Domingo

You don't need to fly to visit the capital of the Dominican Republic. There are cheap bus rides that take 8-9 hours (departure at 6:00 AM), then it will give you enough time to enjoy your short trip before heading back home at night. It's also possible to do this day trip with a taxi but it will be more expensive.

The road is in very good conditions but make sure you book your ticket the day before, it will be cheaper! It's also possible to stop at some places on the way if you want but leave room for your next destination because they are pretty far away (e.g: Santo Domingo is not close to Higuey).

DAY #6: All Inclusive Punta Cana Resort is Near Caribbean Sea Which is Giving You an Opportunity to Swim, Snorkel and Spa

This sounds like the perfect day to me! The water is so blue and clear, you'll want to jump in right away. Get yourself a bottle of sunscreen then head out for a swim or snorkeling! You will see lots of fish, sea urchins and turtles!

Don't forget to take pictures because you'll want to use them later when you get back home. After your relaxing day at the pool (or beach), it's time for the spa! There are many treatments like massages or facials but make sure you book your appointment the day before, it will be super busy.

Finally, that night you can go to one of the many bars or clubs Bavaro has to offer. Go dancing on some Caribbean music and enjoy yourself till you drop.
